How long of a cable should I use to connect my computer to the projector?
When you are connecting your computer to the projector it is important that you use the shortest distance possible between the two pieces of equipment, as this minimizes system failure. We recommend a high-speed HDMI cable (gold-plated) that isn't longer than 50 feet. If it is necessary to connect your devices over a distance longer than 50ft, it is possible, but we recommend additional hardware, like a CAT6 cable with HDMI adapters on each end versus a longer HDMI cable.
Broadway Media sells the connection cabling and hardware that are guaranteed to work for distances shorter than 50ft and for 50ft up to 200ft. Contact sales@broadwaymedia.com for more information.
