Hiding Your Apple Menu Bar
If you toggle the "Fullscreen" button in StagePlayer, and you are still seeing your Apple Menu Bar at the top of your screen, you will need to make this simple change to your Mac's settings to make it go away:
For macOS Ventura
- Click on the Apple icon.
- Find and select the heading titled "System Settings."
- Next, select the "Desktop & Dock" option.
- Scroll down until you see a heading labeled "Menu Bar."
- Click on the drop-down next to where it says "Automatically hide and show the menu bar."
- Choose the option "Always."
For macOS Sonoma
- Click on the Apple icon.
- Find and select the heading titled "System Settings."
- Next, select the "Control Center" option.
- Scroll down until you see a heading labeled "Menu Bar Only."
- Click on the drop-down next to where it says "Automatically hide and show the menu bar."
- Choose the option "Always."
This will make it so that the Menu Bar only shows up if you hover over it with your mouse. Otherwise, it is always hidden. Since your mouse will only ever be over on your control screen, you will never have to worry about accidentally scrolling over it during a performance.
