Economy Projector: Quick Corner Geometry Correction
If your image looks trapezoidal, or one side is off from the other, this can be fixed with Geometry correction > Quick Corner.
Watch the troubleshooting video here.
How to Square Your Image (Quick Corner)
1. 1. Open the Menu: Press the Menu button on your remote or projector.
2. 2. Navigate to Installation: Scroll to the Installation tab.
3. 3. Select Geometry Correction: Look for the Geometry Correction option and select it.
4. 4. Choose "Quick Corner": This is the most effective tool for fixing crooked edges.
5. 5. Adjust Each Corner:
Select a specific corner (e.g., bottom right).
Use the directional buttons to move that corner down, up, in, or out until the edge is straight.
Note: These settings have a limit; if the image stops moving, you have "maxed out" that adjustment.
6. 6. Repeat for All Sides: Cycle through the remaining corners until the image looks perfectly square and the text is easy to read.
Quick Tips
- Keystone vs. Quick Corner: While standard "Keystone" fixes basic tilting, Quick Corner gives you control over all four points, making it much better for complex "trapezoidal" issues.
- Physical Placement: If you find yourself "maxing out" the digital settings, try to use the included allen wrenches to tilt or level the projector to fit your screen. Aligning it more centered with the screen to gives the software more room to work.
