Live Orchestra: Audio Setup Tips
This guide covers the recommended audio configuration in StageStudio when performing 9 to 5 with a live pit orchestra.
Recommended Audio Track Settings
| Audio Track | Recommended Setting | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Voice Track | ON | Contains Dolly Parton's spoken dialogue without background music. |
| Click Track | ON | Provides a metronome track for pit orchestra synchronization. |
| Music Track | OFF | Deactivated because the live orchestra provides all instrumental accompaniment. |
Step-by-Step Configuration Steps
- Launch StageStudio and open 9 to 5 under the Productions tab.
- Select Edit to enter the Editor interface.
- Click on Audio Configuration & Routing in the top navigation bar.
- Set the track toggles as follows:
- Click Track: ON
- Voice Track: ON
- Music Track: OFF
- Speaker Output & Routing: Use the drop-down menus to route physical audio outputs:
- Route the Click Track to the pit orchestra / conductor monitors or headphones.
- Route the Voice Track to house audio / main speakers.
- Click Save at the top of the interface to persist your settings.
