Music Tracks: Audio Setup Tips

This guide covers the recommended audio configuration in StageStudio when performing 9 to 5 using recorded backing tracks without a live orchestra.

Recommended Audio Track Settings

Audio Track Recommended Toggle Notes & Purpose
Voice Track ON Contains Dolly Parton's spoken dialogue
Music Track ON Provides full instrumental backing music.
Click Track OFF This metronome track is likely unnecessary when performing without a live orchestra.

Step-by-Step Configuration Steps

  1. Launch StageStudio and open 9 to 5 under the Productions tab.
  2. Select Edit to enter the Editor interface.
  3. Click on Audio Configuration & Routing in the top navigation bar.
  4. Set the track toggles as follows:
    • Voice Track: ON
    • Music Track: ON
    • Click Track: OFF
  5. Speaker Output & Routing: Use the drop-down menus to route physical audio outputs:
    • Route both the Voice Track and Music Track to your main house sound / speaker system (mono or stereo output).
  6. Click Save at the top of the interface to persist your settings.
